Grab your chance to attend Kindred’s April Community Dinner for free! Kindred, formerly a private members club and now a vibrant community hub, is hosting a monthly gathering aimed at bringing together residents of Hammersmith and Fulham. Here’s the deal: all attendees dine on the house.
They’re extending an invitation to 30 members of the Hammersmith BID network for their upcoming dinner on Monday, April 8th, from 7pm to 9pm. These monthly soirées feature Kindred hosting 100 individuals at communal tables, complete with ice-breaker games to foster connections, alongside a scrumptious shared meal. Crafted by one of Kindred’s talented chefs, the menu often reflects the personal heritage, emphasizing the tradition of communal dining.
To secure your spot, simply fill out a quick form, which will take less than a minute. The deadline for entries is 5pm on Thursday, April 4th. Please keep in mind that tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to first-time attendees from Hammersmith and Fulham. Each person may request only one ticket.
Additionally, there’s an opportunity to contribute to their partner charity, the Nourish Hub, on the night, though it’s entirely optional. Supported by the London Good Growth Fund, the Nourish Hub strives to enhance communities, empower individuals, and foster prosperity through innovative approaches to food.
Kindred’s founder, Anna Anderson, a former social worker, envisioned a space where the community could gather without barriers. The building, a hidden gem at the Hammersmith roundabout, boasts three floors in a beautifully restored Grade II listed structure, open to all.
Kindred features cultural and private events on its upper levels, as well as weekday coworking spaces. Meanwhile, the Cellar at Kindred offers all-day dining with a menu sourced from top-notch producers.
Central to Kindred’s ethos is ‘The Campfire’, a series of grassroots events aimed at combating loneliness and fostering positive change in London. Proceeds from private events and dining directly support this initiative.
